This week on... TCM (May 22 - June 1)

TCM concludes their May schedule in a glorious burst of singing, dancing, and Nazis. June previews look very promising, including a weekly drive-in double feature that might have you flexing your movie riffing (a la MST3K) muscle.

Sunday, May 22
Guys And Dolls (1955) 3:15 PM

Monday, May 23 (theme: Gordon MacRae)
On The Town (1949) 1:00 PM - Aw, I wanted to see the Hippodrome!
My Sister Eileen (1955) 4:30 PM - 'Two sisters from Ohio, one pretty and one witty, plot to take New York by storm' With Janet Leigh, Jack Lemmon, and Betty Garrett. This is a remake of the Rosalind Russell / Janet Blair movie of the same name (1942).
Shadow On The Wall (1950) 6:30 PM - Interesting sounding thriller about a child left mute by the sight of her stepmother's murder. Watch for Nancy Davis as a psychiatrist!
On Moonlight Bay (1951) 8:00 PM - This Doris Day / Gordon MacRae musical looks like a good match for fans of Meet Me In St. Louis and, especially, Oklahoma!
Three Sailors And A Girl (1953) 9:45 PM - A wing-ding with Jane Powell and Gordon MacRae!!
Starlift (1951) 11:30 PM - Another Doris Day and Gordon MacRae

Wednesday, June 1 (prime time theme: How To Spy On Nazis)
The House on 92nd Street (1945) 8:00 PM - It's a docudrama!
Night Train To Munich (1940) 9:45 PM - I love the artwork for this film (as seen in the IMDb link)
Above Suspicion (1943) 11:30 PM
